Surviving the Elements

For about a week and a half now the Chamber office has been getting a little warmer each day. At first I thought this was my intern test, you know subjecting me to the harsh elements of office life. Turns out the air conditioning is broken. I’ve been sweating it out all week, but we’re finally caving in. The Chamber will be closing at noon today. We will reopen Monday at 8:00 a.m. Keep your fingers crossed that everything goes right and we once again have air at the end of next week. Most meetings scheduled here for next week have been moved to an off site location, we won’t subject our guests to this heat.
